The cast loop on this Ice Fishing listing

I opened the Google Play card for Let's Fish: Fishing Simulator and followed the sentences that describe a session. Checked 8 October 2026.

What the about text says you hold

The listing describes a sport-fishing session: a rod, a stretch of water, a bite, then a reel. It names rods, hooks, lines, reels, landing nets, bait, and ground bait. It also says you can swap a worm for fly fishing or lures. That is the loop the card is selling, written by the developer, not measured by me.

Where the Ice Fishing thread sits

The same opening lists bass fishing, ice fishing, fly fishing, sport fishing, and big-fish fishing, then says the app covers summer fishing and winter fishing. I underline the winter and ice lines because that is the thread this shanty is here to follow. The card does not isolate a separate ice-only mode in the sentences I copied. It folds winter water into a larger map.

Places and fish the card names

It claims more than 60 locations and more than 650 species. The examples it gives are Alaska, the Norwegian Fjords, American Lakes, and South American rivers or oceans. Species examples run from catfish, albacore, skipjack, and salmon to coelacanths, peacock bass, white sharks, and whales. Those counts are the developer's figures on the store page. I did not recount them.

Competition lines

Further down, the card mentions friends, rankings, tournaments, and player-versus-player duels. It also says a connection is required. A quiet Ice Fishing hour on this app, if the text is accurate, still needs the network.

The passport with the checked date is on the home page. The install is on Google Play.
